Description
intense yet lifted
This was the first of the single-vineyard wines from Brovia released this year that I tasted in a flight meant to increase in intensity
The texture was dense and extraordinarily tannic
" Instead of using whole clusters
Beautifully balanced and concentrated
Silver Heights, Emma's Reserve other_regions_australia intense yet liftedFull bottle a heavy 1,645 g. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot. Emma Gao's top red. Luscious, subtle mature ruby. Lightly resinous nose and very pleasing, ripe, bordeaux blend nose. Clean and surprisingly fresh for a 15% wine, with light leafiness. Sweet start, no shortage of fresh acidity, this is really very creditable. Just the sort of wine to give to people doubtful about whether China can produce decent wine. Long and very respectable indeed.
